All Art

The Art Party was created to celebrate art in all forms — from traditional to experimental, from fine art to street art, and artists at all stages of their careers — from the internationally acclaimed to first time exhibitors.

Visual Art

The Art Party began as an event for Visual Artists. An entire range of visual art — from oil painting, photography, sculpture to multimedia and installation work.

Artists are selected by a nomination process and review process. For more information about this see below:

All visual artists in the Art Party are nominated by prior participants. If you are interested in participating, have a look at the lists of participants found on the old websites (listed on the footer of THIS website) and see if you can find someone to nominate you. You don’t necessarily have to KNOW them — or they you — you just need to convince them to nominate you.

* Please note that “nomination” does not guarantee admission.

This year — because of the large number of participants — all new nominees will be reviewed by a panel of jurors. (Not just Anne and Mark!)

Participation is by nomination only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept unsolicited submissions.

Fire

What would the Art Party be without Fire? In addition to a Fire Stage, we are looking forward to having a number of large-scale fire installations.

Fashion

This year we are excited to join forces with FashionART Santa Cruz to display one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces, as well as ready-to-wear lines. The fashion show will take place on Thursday, 25 September.

We also count on YOU to provide some fashion interest!

Music

Again, a range of music… from Classical to World Beat, from Swing to Rap, from Jazz to Opera, from Calypso to Taiko.
